2026 Field Trip

Our May 9 "Geology of Santa Ynez wine country" field trip is coming into shape. We hope you will come and enjoy a mix of geology stops and wine tasting in Happy Canyon and the eastern Santa Rita Hills. It is looking like a 2/3-day trip that will begin at 9 am and end at about 2 pm (maybe later if we can arrange more wine tastings). Cost is only $90, $25 for students.
